Guadalajara was named “the next it city” by Conde Nast Traveler in their “Hottest Destinations of 2015” travel list!
Conde Nast Traveler writes,
Look out, Mexico City—Guadalajara, the country’s second-largest metropolis and the capital of Jalisco is coming into its own. Especially the food scene, which is as good as you’d expect in the birthplace of tequila and the torta ahogada (a chili pepper sauce–soaked pork sandwich). Check out Casa Fayette, the new Grupo Habita hotel opening in late summer.
In our opinion, we are happy Guadalajara is on the map! We recommend traveling our Guadalajara, Tequila, and Punta Mita itinerary where travelers have the opportunity to learn all about Jalisco, and the folklore and traditions behind the Mexican symbols of mariachi and tequila. Fly into Guadalajara for a few days, head to the charming town of Tequila, and then finish on the beach side haven of Punta Mita.
