Regional Business Development Manager
REPORTS TO:Director of Business Development
LOCATION:USA | Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, Chicago preferably
PURPOSE OF POSITION
- To generate new leads from existing trade clients and develop relationships with new trade accounts resulting in an increase in business.
- To participate in the planning for business development, marketing, sales, in the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Trade Business Development (65%)
- To manage and improve relationships with existing trade clients and develop new accounts resulting in increased business.
- To attend trade shows and execute sales calls as appropriate (ie. Virtuoso Travel Week, Educational Travel Consortium, Emotions, Brownell Meeting and as well USA sales calls, like New York, South California, Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville and others).
- To provide trade clients with marketing material (product: itineraries, photos, marketing copy) for their brochures, websites etc. with the support of the marketing and product development team.
- To help design, organize, sell, and escort VIP FAM trips.
Travel Planning and Customer Service Resolution (20%)
- To support Director of Sales in training of travel planning team on nuances and demographics of trade clients and markets as well as region specific products.
- To support the resolution of customer service issues specifically liaising with trade clients and trade client management.
Business Development Strategy (15%)
- To manage an integrated regional business development plan with clear and measurable goals and objectives
- To work with Director of Business Development to measure and monitor ROI from different business development activities
- To grow leads in all segments of trade business including TA, TO, and other segments to be identified.
- To collaborate with Director of Business Development and Director of Sales to harmonize goals, objectives, with overall business development, marketing and sales plans.

QUALIFICATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in marketing / business development field
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in travel industry or equivalent experience
- First-hand knowledge of Mexico and Costa Rica preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of other Latin American destinations (Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica,
Panama, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina,) preferred
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Marketing (Recommended)
- Previous travel industry sales / marketing experience and in country experience (Mexico)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High level of customer service experience required
- Strong writing and computer skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently and preferably Spanish fluently.
- French, German, Portuguese, and / or other 3rd language preferred (not necessary)
JUDGEMENT/REASONING ABILITY:
- Use of good judgment and own initiative
- Logical thought process
- Ability to gauge pricing using company guidelines and personal judgment/experience

PRINCIPALES FUNCIONES:
- Elaboraci贸n y coordinaci贸n de los itinerarios de viaje generados por la empresa a trav茅s del departamento de ventas.
- Reconfirmaci贸n de proveedores y recomendaciones de ajustes en itinerario.
- Elaboraci贸n聽 de los documentos finales de viaje, incluyendo asignaci贸n de gu铆as y proveedores.
- Supervisi贸n de pagos a proveedores asignados.
- Supervisi贸n de pagos a proveedores asignados.
- Supervisi贸n de proveedores en campo.
- Elaboraci贸n聽 de reporte post viaje.
- Participaci贸n en guardias ejecutivas.
- Cotizaci贸n y venta de tours adicionales a los ya programados en caso de ser necesario.

- Compra de boletos de tren, vuelos y admisiones, de ser necesario.

RELACIONES PUBLICAS (10%)
Establecer fuertes relaciones con los proveedores de la empresa, principalmente guias y transportis
PRINCIPALES FUNCIONES:
- Trabajar en estrecha colaboracion con los departamentos de yentas y operaciones de los proveed, en una forma comunicativa con la finalidad de garantizar relaciones solidas.
- Solicitar nuevos contratos netos a los proveedores, incluyendo transportistas, guias, alquiler equipos, otros proveedores de servicios relacionados en todo Mexico.

NIVEL EDUCATIVO Y/0聽EXPERIENCIA
- Licenciatura en Turismo 6 relacionado.
- Minimo S anos de experiencia en la industria de viajes, especificamente en M4xico.
- Conocimiento del pais, principalmente las zona de Baja California Sur, Barrancas del Cobre , Ciudades Coloniales como Guanajuato (San Miguel Allende), Michoacan (Morelia, Petzcuaro, Reserva de las Mariposas Monarcas), Ciudad de Mexico y alrededores Puebla (Cholula), Taxco, Oaxaca, Costa del Pacifico (Puerto Vallarta, Costa Alegre, Costa Careyes, Zihuatanejo / Ixtapa, Acapulco, Puerto Escondido, Huatulco), Chiapas, Peninsula de Yucatan (Campeche, Merida), el Caribe mexicano (CancOn, Riviera Maya, Costa Maya).

Concierge
REPORTS TO:Director of Operations
LOCATION:Mexico City
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To make and manage real-time reservations for time-sensitive, perishable services based on strong relationships with key suppliers including, but not limited to restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, pubs, golf courses, and more, throughout the Mexican republic with special focus on Mexico City, Oaxaca, Los Cabos, The Riviera Maya, and Punta de Mita along other priority destinations we operate in Mexico.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- To make restaurant / nightlife / beach club, gallery / event / and other reservation for guests based upon itinerary
- To obtain tickets for events and/or access to museums, galleries, exclusive events, or similar
- To arrange special service as per requests of Operations and Sales teams, and/or Guests directly
- To develop a strong network of contacts, service providers and businesses within the luxury travel, dining, events, and venue communities.
- To provide suggestions and/or recommendations for sales, operations teams, and/or guests directly
- To arrange luxury transportation and excursions upon guest request
- Perform basic administrative tasks (expense reports, tracking of guest satisfaction, etcetera)
- To run errands on field to assist guest directly, and/or sales and operations teams
- To manage guest complaints with a resolution to maximize the guest satisfaction
- To supervise guest experience in arranged amenities upon reservation
- To formalize commissions, overrides, and other compensation from restaurants and other suppliers.
QUALIFICATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of Concierge experience
- Cle d'Or membership
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Tourism or similar field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Spanish (3rd language preferred)
- Proven high-quality (luxury) customer service skills
- Proven Microsoft 365 skills
- Willing to work irregular shifts and weekends
- Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail
