Casa Chablé is situated within the Sian Ka´an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. To minimize harmful impact on the environment, the hotel uses biodigesters that safely treat and dispose of wastewater, and has installed solar panels to power all areas. Guests have access to a purified water refill station and a composting system is in place with the water supplied by a well, purified through reverse osmosis. The hotel also has ka’anche’s, a Mayan agricultural technique that consists of raised garden beds, plus offers bicycles for the beach and the hotel´s external path.
