Imanta Resort offers a world-class boutique hotel in one of nature’s most magnificent settings, Punta de Mita.
Nestled around an undulating bay and spread out among lush palm trees and exotic jungle plants, Imanta Resort peeks from above the foliage like Mesoamerican pyramids. Just 45 km from Puerto Vallarta International Airport it won’t take long to feel a world away from it all.
Spacious accommodations range from 2,000 square-foot one-bedroom casas to 10,000 square-foot three-bedroom houses. All overlook the ocean or the jungle and some sit right on the oceanfront. All of the casas boast uniquely designed furniture with luxurious beds, sumptuous bathrooms and private infinity pools while the casonas have state-of-the-art kitchens, rooftop jacuzzis and large private pools. All accommodations have a minimalist, Asian feel that call upon natural materials and give the sense that they are part of the natural surroundings.
The resort has a private beach terrace pool as well as a gym and onsite spa. Pure, fresh and local are the buzzwords for Imanta’s cuisine with local fishermen bringing the fresh catch to the hotel daily. Eat directly on the beach with your feet in the sand or with sweeping views over the bay at the Tukipa restaurant. There is also the option of tapas and cocktails at the romantic rooftop bar.

A recycling system in the employee cafeteria separates organic, non-organic and plastic material, and to avoid using paper, brochures and menus are presented digitally via QR codes. Imanta´s boutique promotes and supports local artists by offering their handmade Mexican art, crafts, and clothes, while menus at the restaurant use seasonal produce from local fishermen and organic stores.
The property´s location on the beach is a natural nesting site for turtles. When hatching is taking place, the turtles are protected and Imanta´s staff explain protocols to guests and share information about the species to raise awareness about their importance.
