Day 1: Arrival in Merida
After arriving into Merida International Airport, enjoy a private transfer to Chablé Yucatán. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the resort and its luxurious facilities.

Day 2: Private tour of Celestun Biosphere Reserve and Merida City
Home to 2,000 or more pink flamingos, Celestún Biosphere Reserve, is a great place for nature lovers. Taking a boat ride through a salt-water lagoon, see the great variety of flora and fauna that thrives there and take the chance to swim in the refreshing waters.
After some time in nature, tour the historic center of Merida city, the capital of the state of Yucatán. Learn about Merida’s history and contemporary importance with a guided tour of the Zócalo, the cathedral, and the Monument of the Homeland before heading down El Paseo de Montejo with its grand, colonial buildings.
Please note: The flamingo watching experience is subject to weather conditions; very few can be seen during the rainy season.

Day 3: Privately guided tour to Uxmal and Kabah Archeological Sites
Journey into the ancient Maya world with a privately guided tour of Uxmal, home to the stunning and grand Pyramid of the Magician. Built around 700AD, Uxmal had around 25,000 inhabitants at its height and is now one of the most important ancient Maya sites in the Yucatan.
After, head to Kabah, thought to mean ‘strong hand’ in ancient Maya. While the area was inhabited from the 3rd-century BC, many of the structures date from the 7th to 11th centuries AD. The most unique and striking structure at Kabah is the Palace of the Masks, with its intricately detailed facade made up of 260 masks of Chaac, the rain god, — his long nose protruding prominently. The building’s design is unusual for the area, but since there are no cenotes (sinkholes) around Kabah, the inhabitants relied solely on the rain they collected in underground wells, and therefore Chaac was highly revered.

Day 4: Day at leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure, relaxing by the pool, and enjoying the activities offered by the hotel, such as gardening with Chable’s resident horticulturist, cycling the resort’s many trails, cooking lessons focused on Maya techniques, or morning yoga by the cenote.

Day 5: Private tour of Chichen Itza archeological site & drop off at Chablé Maroma in Riviera Maya
Depart Chablé Yucatán for Chichen Itzá, Mexico’s most famous and celebrated archeological site. One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Chichen Itza is a bucket-list experience for many, housing El Castillo or the Temple of Kukulkan, a grand stepped pyramid with an incredibly precise design.
Exploring the site, learn how duality played a huge role in Maya cosmology. Visiting the platform of the skulls, which was a monument to both life and death, see how each is represented, before heading to the ball court where archeologists are still undecided as to whether the winner or the loser was sacrificed.
Just outside the city walls, find a cenote in which sacrificial drownings took place. Learn about the rituals involved and what was uncovered when attempts were made to drain this deep sinkhole. At the conclusion, a private transfer continues to Chablé Maroma in the Riviera Maya.
Upon arrival, check in and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 6: Private tour to Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and Tulum archeological site
Explore the wonders of the Yucatan’s natural world with a tour of the Sian Kaán Biosphere Reserve, one of Mexico’s most important natural habitats. The reserve is made up of a large water system, marshes, and mangroves, as well as virgin tropical forest.
Arriving at Sian Kaán, start the tour on foot, taking a short hike through the jungle to a Muyil-Maya temple, before walking along a wooden pathway by the water’s edge.
The next part of the visit will be by boat. Along with an expert guide, explore the reserve by water, discovering a cenote that lies underneath the surface. There will also be a chance to swim in the clear waterways or float along the ‘lazy river’.
Arriving back on dry land, depart for Tulum archeological site, the only Maya city located right by the Caribbean Sea. Tulum was a Maya fortress city that peaked between the 13th and 15th centuries. Explore this small but beautiful site with an expert guide who will explain its history and various architectural styles.
There will also be time to take a swim and look up at Tulum’s iconic structure from below.

Day 7: Private catamaran experience
Explore the open sea on a luxurious, full-day, private sailing trip around the bay of Cancun and Isla Mujeres on a 41-foot catamaran. Swim along the second largest coral reef in the world or simply enjoy the ride with a cold drink in hand.

Day 8 & 9: Days at leisure
These last couple of days are free to enjoy at leisure. Relax in the lovely surroundings and take advantage of the many activities available at the resort.
