Day 1: Arrive in Merida

After arriving at Merida airport, enjoy a private transfer to Hotel Xixim, your home in the Celestun Biosphere Reserve for the next three nights. Get there in time to stroll the many nature paths and dine on fresh seafood caught in the surrounding waters.

Day 2-3: Explore the Celestún Biosphere Reserve

Days two and three will be spent reconnecting with nature in one of Mexico’s most important natural habitats, the Celestún Biosphere Reserve. At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, choose from several exciting and healthy activities include a bike ride around the reserve, kayaking the local waters, or enjoying its luxury Wellness Center.

Activities at The Wellness Center include yoga, tai chi, Pilates, meditation, wellness pools, healing massages and much more.

After your days of exciting and re-energizing fun, return to your bungalow at Hotel Xixim and take advantage of your direct access to three miles of white-sand beaches. Chill under shaded resting areas, sunbathe, play volleyball, or sail in a kayak, all without additional cost.

Day 4: Journey to Merida, Ek-Balam, Valladolid

Depart the Celestún for the place named the World’s Best Small City 2019 by Conde Naste Traveler, Merida. Enjoy an educational and enlightening privately guided tour of this colonial gem.

Then, head to the Maya archeological site of Ek Balam. With your guide providing expert insight, journey round this fascinating city visiting the ball court, temples and the magnificent Acropolis with its winged human figures and a jaguar-mouth entrance.

After, continue to Valladolid, where you will sleep above the converted perfumery, Coqui Coqui. Enjoy gorgeous views from your room over the beautiful tropical garden and a little pool of fresh water.

Day 5: Enjoy a trip to Chichen Itza and spa treatments in Valladolid

Enjoy a private tour to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Chichen Itza. Under the expert tutelage of your guide, the ball courts, temples, and plazas come alive. Visit the world-famous stepped pyramid, El Castillo, and take the time to visit the local cenote.

After the excursion, return to the hotel where you can choose from two spa treatments: the Coqui-Coqui Ritual or a Swedish massage. Relax and destress with these superb spa treatments delivered by highly trained professionals.

Day 6: Private transfer to Holbox Island

In the morning, you may want to enjoy another spa treatment or lie in. Then, take a private transfer to a ferry at Chiquilá. Board the vessel and head out onto the Caribbean Sea to visit Isla Holbox. Enjoy a romantic three-course dinner for two on the beach with a bottle of wine, before retiring to your beautiful suite in Casa Sandra.

Day 7-9: Isla Holbox

Alternatively, enjoy the white sands and crystal-clear seas for which this part of the world is famous. This is your chance to completely unwind in one of the most beautiful locations in Mexico.

Day 10: Departure from Cancun

On your final day, a driver will meet you after breakfast for a private transfer to the local international airport from where you will catch your flight.
